Is It an Anomaly?
Read the report below. Real anomaly, or explainable event?
A civilian witness in a mid-sized Rocky Mountain city reported watching a massive, silver, disc-shaped object hovering silently overhead during daylight hours in the late 1970s. No wings. No windows. No sound. The witness estimated the object's diameter at roughly the length of a football field — somewhere around 100 meters across — which would make it substantially larger than any commercial or military aircraft flying at the time. The object wasn't moving in a straight line or banking like a plane. It was hovering. Stationary. The silence was the detail that sticks: anything that large, flying low enough to observe in that kind of detail, should have been generating significant noise. Jets, rotors, piston engines — something. There was nothing. The report was filed with the national civilian UAP clearinghouse. No photographs, no radar data, no corroborating witnesses on record. Just one person, a shape that doesn't fit the catalog, and a silence that doesn't either.
