At 8:30 PM on March 13, 1997, thousands of people across an entire metropolitan area watch a massive silent V-shaped craft drift slowly overhead. Witnesses include the sitting state governor (who initially mocks the reports and ten years later admits he saw it himself) and a sitting U.S. senator. Two hours later, a separate row of stationary lights appears over the same area and hovers for several minutes before fading out one by one.
